Layout 41 (180 L)

The large, dead rainforest tree makes room for an abundance of new growth. A thick wall of red and green Aponogeton, stellata and Hemianthus falls softly from the right to the left in the back of the aquarium. Echinodorus 'Reni' and 'Araguaia' create, along with Alternanthera, colourful focus points. The thick, dark mosses give the layout a sense of age and character as a contrast to the vigorous, light-green Hemianthus carpet that covers the entire foreground of the aquarium. The schooling fish Harlequin (Rasbora heteromorpha) would be a suitable fish to adorn this show-aquarium.Tips! The use of green as well as red Aponogeton crispus provides a beautiful sparkle with the different shades and their texture - both plants have slim, long and slightly curly leaves, which wave beautifully in the water stream from the pump.Note: Plant E on the drawing is Aponogeton crispus 'Red' which is no longer produced by Tropica. Can be replaced by Cryptocoryne usteriana.
