The light on this 50-litre start set is just 15 Watt. The exceptionally simple layout and few, robust and slowly growing plants make the aquarium almost maintenance-free. Trimming of the plants is limited to no more than once every six months. If you keep a limited number of fish - such as 4 small veiltail goldfish or approx. 10 small shoal fish - there will hardly be any algae growth and there will be no problem to minimise water changes to approx. 25% every other week. (Veiltail goldfish grow big - and may need to be moved to a larger tank after some time. Please refer to your dealer's recommendations).Tips!
